| Today's Weather | Just a Blah Day! Couldn't motivate myself to
do a single thing. Oh! I discovered that Gmail just takes certain personal messages
and throws them into the SPAM folder. So buried inside hundreds of viagra ads, sex,
and more, is the occasional important email. One was from Bryan (we survived Comspec together
an eternity ago), another was a test message I'd sent, and assumed that the customer's
email wasn't working when the problem was on My End. Sigh. |
Rainy Days and Mondays |
Talking to myself and feeling old
Sometimes I'd like to quit
Nothing ever seems to fit
Hangin around, nothing to do but frown
Rainy days and mondays always get me down
What Ive got they used to call the blues
Nothing is really wrong
Feeling like I don't belong
Walking around some kind of lonely clown
Rainy days and mondays always get me down
Funny but it seems I always wind up here with you
Its nice to know somebody loves me
Funny but it seems that it's the only thing to do
To run and find the one who loves me
what I feel is come and gone before
No need to talk it out
We know what it's all about
Hanging around, nothing to do but frown
Rainy days and mondays always get me down
Funny but it seems that it's the only thing to do
Run and find the one who loves me

| Yesterday |
It was actually Saturday Night, but let's not be picky, as it's hard
to find a song that fits my mood. I got a visit from my hun! I was so
lonely at the time, I was cranky and difficult. But that all changed
the instant I saw her. I got her from work, and she was radiant.

| Come by Sunday | I may be workin' Monday night
And Tuesday might not be quite right
So, come by Sunday, Sunday night I'm free
Come by Sunday and spend some time with me
On Wednesday night I'm booked in full
And Thursday nights are taffy pull
So, come by Sunday, Sunday come for tea
Come by Sunday and spend some time with me
It isn't necessary
To call me on the phone
If you decide to come on by
I'll be waiting all alone
On Friday night I'm always out
And Saturday I fall about
So, come by Sunday. make it after three
Come by Sunday and spend some time with me
I always make appointments, at least a week ahead.
For six long days I go like mad, the seventh day I stay in bed.
The whole week through I'm on the town, but Sunday always gets me down.
So, come by Sunday. make it after three
Come by Sunday, spend some time,
Come by Sunday and stay awhile,
Come by Sunday and spend some time with me

| right now | Many of you will shun me after
you read this, but whatever. I've been trying to eat healthier things, and
all of the fruits and vegetables are causing me gastric upset-- that is, I've
got the worst gas.

Blowin in the Wind |
How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?
Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
